The London Leisure Pirates

Take the universe. No actually start with something smaller. A large garden shed perhaps. Yes. The shed is furnished with several mirrors, hundreds of fake flowers, card tables with old typewriters and stacks of paper piled up on them, a stuffed badger, several broken brass instruments, clothes pegs and labels thats are attached to everything. There is a large ferocious lion's head hat hanging from the ceiling and the windows have been drawn on with icing.

You approach the shed with caution. You step inside. Suddenly the door slams shut, music blares out and the room starts to spin. Twenty to thirty people appear out of nowhere dressed as devils, secretaries, pig faced soldiers, 18the century dandies and prostitutes cavorting at the card tables whilst someone ties you up with ribbons. You are jostled and spun, drink is poured down your throat and you're put in fancy dress. A moustache is drawn on your face. You are systematically ridiculed, loved, shouted at and danced with. You play games and climb in tables laughing hysterically. Suddenly you're pushed out of the door into a field. The shed has disappeared.

You stumble in a daze across the grass wondering what just happened, unsure as to whether it was real but secure in the knowledge that whatever it was, it was the time of your life.
